My piece started off as a sort of, abstract translationally piece, where i started out with doing some interpretations of a spontaneously occurred pattern in a wild mushroom, and then ended up being interested in the shape of the pattern as a whole, and then translating that shape into other drawings, using both oil stick, lemon juice, fire, ink and salt.

When installing my piece I became aware of my fellow student Mika’s work, that in many ways, had interesting similarities and connections to my piece. So we decided to do a collaboration, which, not only gave our pieces a completely new set of meanings, but also made an entirely new piece.
